A nice restaurant, lots of charm! The owners, already over 70, have been here for 40 years, now rather quiet. A special experience. Great quality food.

Very good restaurant with a varied menu and very fair prices.

You have to experience it. Old-fashioned, cozy and surprisingly good food. The service was very friendly. Kitchen closes fairly early.

The ambience of the place is like a normal German restaurant. The salad is good, but the grill platter was a disaster. The meat was very dry and lacked any flavour. Also the breast fillet with mustard sauce was ok but with very little quantity. Especially for the high price charged for each dish it's definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this place.

Good food and nice service, unfortunately the prices on the internet do not match the prices in the local.

I give five stars for one simple reason. It's just nice and cozy here. You might think that the restaurant has seen better days, but I would be served warmly and the atmosphere was very warm and pleasant. The kitchen is very tasty and extremely cheap

We were there for dinner. I can not understand the sometimes very negative reviews. We had reserved for lunch in the evening. The restaurant is of course very old fashioned and sparse but the food was good. We had schnitzel and pork fillet. The landlady was very nice. Corona naturally only occupied every second table. We had a complete side room to ourselves, especially because of our baby, I thought it was very nice. However, the kitchen really didn't open long, a family was sent away at 8:30 p.m. because the kitchen was already closed. So at 7:30 p.m. we were the last guests to pick them up.

Can't join the pre-ratings. We were warmly received and entertained. The food was great, fresh and tasty. Also completely reasonable in terms of price. The only negative points are that the kitchen is only open until around 7:30 p.m. at the weekend (apparently but also normal for the area) and that unfortunately you cannot pay with a card. Otherwise highly recommended! To be honest, I think that this was not always fair. Make up your own mind.

A married couple in their prime decides not to stop but not to have to get everything done. Groups can not be satisfactorily served, so they are asked to look for something else. Fair enough. Eat at a fair price / quality ratio. Honest and good. Will be happy to come back.

Rude ... without end. Would not we go back? And we just drank a little beer. I do not want to know what it's like to eat something. A pity there .an on the track already a little something behind and possibly also something in front of him. The store can afford to treat its guests like this!

Good attention even though we arrived at the last minute. Good food and good price. For our daughter, with her plate she was brought small cutlery, napkins with children's drawings and candies for later. A detail.

We arrived very early and were lucky to get a seat and be served right away. The Schwarzwaldklause first made a good impression on us, where we imagined home cooking. The selection of cards sounded good, but the quality was lower mediocrity which in hindsight also caused stomach problems. The drinks order lasted unusually long. One of the glasses was not clean.

They let in pets, which was very positive, but the food was not a big deal. The meat is very dry, and the food is generally not very elaborate.

A very nice little restaurant, with a cozy clock. The landlady was super friendly and the food from the landlord was delicious. Been there twice and each time we were very happy. It is nothing for larger groups but very nice for small or couples. Our dog was also allowed in, even though they had a cat and were very happy when we were around again we would definitely come back.

Please, do not come here when you are in hurry! take your time to enjoy your meal. When we visit this restaurant there was just one old woman attending customers and one more person in the kitchen. Old woman prioritise without shame the local customers in front others, bring a book to read something while you wait she ends the chat with neighbours or friends. We were here during the mushrooms season and we enjoied very tasteful specialities! Price vs quality ratio is very good. I would recommend the visit when you are nearby.
